You may not have heard of Atlantica. According to a recent poll, only 17 per cent of people could locate it on a map of the world. And yet, this tiny archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic ocean is home to an important economy, a rich culture and abundant natural resources.
To reach Atlantica, you can fly to St John’s Newfoundland in Canada and then take a connecting flight to St Cuthbert’s International Airport just outside the country’s capital.
Atlantica is exactly halfway between London and New York. It’s where Europe and the Americas come together.
Once you arrive, take a taxi to the downtown area of St Cuthbert’s and check in to your hotel. The fashionable Victoria area of the city has some excellent 4 and 5 star hotels. After you have rested, enjoy an evening walk along the quayside and admire the luxury yachts moored in the marina. St Cuthbert’s offers some excellent dining opportunities as well as exciting nightlife.
